Scenic Eclipse to sail new itineraries in Central America

Scenic has released full details of the 2022/23 North and Central American Voyages and Land Journeys programme on its ultra-luxury discovery yacht, Scenic Eclipse.

Four new sailings and five new land journeys will showcase the best of Central America, with activities including guided walks on the still-active Cerro Negro volcano, snorkelling with Californian sea lions and whale-watching in the Sea of Cortez.

New itineraries include a 16-day Baha and Costa Rica Discovery sailing, on which guests will visit the cultured Mexican city of Oaxaca before zip lining and horse riding in Costa Rica.

On the 12-day Baja California & Sea of Cortez cruise, activities include kayaking, snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding, and clients can explore by Zodiac, catamaran, or on horseback.

The seven-day Costa Rica Nature & Wildlife land journey combines with a number of cruises, and visits a wildlife sanctuary, a farm and the Peñas Blancas River before finishing in the Costa Rican capital, San Jose.

Cruises on board Scenic Eclipse include 10 dining experiences, premium-branded beverages, all shore excursions, butler service and use of the wellness facilities. Experiences on board the ship’s helicopter and submarine are at an extra cost.

Scenic is currently offering savings of up to 20% per person on 2022 and 2023 North and Central America discovery voyages.
