Regent Seven Seas Cruises launches 13 new Spotlight Voyages

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has launched a new collection of 13 “culturally immersive” Spotlight Voyages sailing in 2021 and 2022.

The line said the collection had been designed to appeal to “culinary and wine enthusiasts, history buffs, Broadway aficionados and performance art followers, as well as journalism and science fans”.

Voyages include the 12-night Spotlight on Wine with Gargiulo Wines, hosted by the founders of Gargiulo Vineyards and featuring an overnight stay onboard in Bordeaux’s wine country, and the 12-night Spotlight on Cuisine with Chef Tommaso Barletta, who shares his expertise with guests across Greece, Croatia and Italy.

A 12-night Spotlight on Hollywood sailing includes time with film and television writers, producers and directors and a special screening experience at the Constellation Theatre, while the 14-night Spotlight on Public Broadcasting: 50 Years of Excellence sailing is hosted by PBS NewsHour anchor Judy Woodruff.

“We pride ourselves on offering our guests culturally-enriching programmes and immersive itineraries that go beyond just the destinations that we visit,” said Jason Montague, president and chief executive of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

“This new collection of Spotlight Voyages gives discerning travellers the unique opportunity to engage with esteemed experts and ambassadors from the culinary arts, to the world of wine, public broadcasting, and many others. We invite luxury travellers to get lost in their passions with Regent Seven Seas Cruises.”
