Prestige Holidays considers improved terms for top performing agents

out?enhanced commercial terms to its?top-performing consortia agents after setting up a reward scheme with Advantage.

The operator's 64 Advantage top sellers have become Advantage Prestige Star members as part of its new distribution deal with the consortium.

Prestige previously had a two-year deal with the consortium and has renewed it for a further two years. The intention is to extend the scheme to cover more agents over the duration of the deal.

Agents who sit within the tour operator's new Advantage Prestige Star tier will receive better commercial rewards and more support.

Prestige's head of sales John Joinson said: "We are considering similar agreements with other travel consortia."

Benefits for Advantage Prestige Star agents include advance notice of Prestige Experience agent fam trips in which they will be notified of educationals a week before other agents and given first refusal to go on the trips.

Members will also have access to a marketing fund set aside specifically for joint targeted campaigns and a dedicated telephone support service with direct-dial telephone numbers reservational consultants.

Agents' sales of the operator's holidays have to reach a specific revenue threshold to enjoy the benefits in the new deal.

Joinson added: "With so many companies cutting commission we wanted to make sure our payments aided cash flow and really benefitted the agent throughout the year."
