Overseas Leisure Group offers 'completely risk-free' booking incentive

Overseas Leisure Group has introduced a Carefree Bookings incentive to encourage future bookings.

The company, which works with luxury agents such as Original Travel, The Ultimate Travel Group and Steppes Travel, is offering “completely risk-free” bookings up until October 31. Travellers can book without needing to pay a deposit or a cancellation fee, with Overseas Leisure Group claiming it was a “total remedy and solution for avoiding future refund issues”.

The incentive means clients can keep their money until seven days prior to arrival when they pay for their reservation. If they decide to cancel up to a week before arrival, the booking can be cancelled without a penalty.

More than 1,000 hotels and resorts have opted to participate in the scheme, including brands such as Como Hotels and Resorts, Auberge, Belmond, Fairmont, Four Seasons, Hyatt, Peninsula and Rosewood.

The firm said the incentive had been created with agents in mind and they can book using the OverseasXpress platform.

Agents are given low net rates on each property or package they book or they can request commission on preferred hotel rates that start from 13%
