Oberoi Hotels & Resorts has confirmed plans to open two new hotels in the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India in late 2024.
The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace and The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort are both located among nature and wildlife in the state’s national parks.
The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace is located on the Managad Hills near Khajuraho, just under five miles from Panna National Park and Tiger Reserve and around 13 miles from the 1,100-year-old Khajuraho temples - a prominent Unesco World Heritage Site.
The 200-year-old palace will feature 66 rooms as well as 70 acres of land featuring gardens and a lake overlooked by an infinity pool.
The restaurant offers panoramic views of the tiger reserve while the Banquet Hall can host weddings, celebrations and corporate events. The Oberoi Spa is a short boat-ride away.
The group’s second hotel opening, The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort, is located in the Bandhavgarh region of Madhya Pradesh, putting guests in the fringe zone of the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, overlooking the Vindhya Hills and Bandhavgarh National Park.
The property features 21 air-conditioned luxury tents, each with a private garden and individual swimming pool.
During their stay guests can dine at an open-air restaurant and swim in an infinity pool which connects with the lake. For intimate gatherings, the 12-seat Bush Dining venue offers a live grill experience.
