Nobu Hospitality to open hotel and restaurant in Bangkok

Nobu Hospitality has signed an exclusive development agreement with integrated lifestyle real estate group Assets World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC) to open “multiple” hotels and restaurants in Thailand.

The first phase of the partnership will see a Nobu restaurant and hotel open in Bangkok.

Nobu Restaurant Empire Tower will occupy the top floor and rooftop of the Empire Tower, a mixed-use development in the centre of the city.

The restaurant will offer panoramic views of the Bangkok’s skyline and the Chao Phraya River.

A statement from Nobu Hospitality said the location of the signed Nobu Hotel in Bangkok will be announced soon, with the property offering a “completely unique and distinct programme and experience”.

The statement added that Nobu and AWC are “exploring further development locations in Thailand’s most compelling destinations”.

Nobu Hospitality chief executive Trevor Horwell said: “It is an honour to be partnering with the visionary Wallapa Traisorat and the powerbase that she has carefully built with Asset World Corp Public Company Limited.
