The Vineta will open in Palm Beach in 2025
Oetker Collection is set to open its first property in the US in early 2025.
The Vineta will be set in Palm Beach, close to the shops and restaurants of Worth Avenue and the beach.
The property will be the 12th in the brand’s portfolio and will feature 41 rooms, as well as a pool, courtyard and bar. There will also be a signature restaurant named Coco’s, whose menu has been created by chefs at The Vineta’s sister hotel, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.
The building has almost 100 years of history and was most recently known as The Chesterfield. Oetker Collection will restore the property to its former name, having been named The Vineta shortly after its original opening in 1926.
Timo Gruenert, Oetker Collection’s chief executive, said: “This is a monumental moment in the brand’s history as we announce our first Masterpiece Hotel in the United States.
“Many of our existing guests have long visited or are residents of Palm Beach, and we therefore look forward to extending Oetker Collection’s unique hospitality ethos based on our values of family spirit, elegance and genuine kindness to this wonderful town with the Vineta Hotel.”
The launch follows the recent openings of The Woodward in Geneva in 2021 and Hotel La Palma in Capri in 2023. Oetker Collection is also set to open another new property in Saint Tropez in 2027.
