New ski offering from Club Med
Club Med’s newest mountain Resort, Club Med Pragelato Vialattea, will open its doors in December.
Located in the Piedmont region (in the heart of the Italian Alps), the Resort offers ski in/ski out access to the second biggest ski domain in Europe, the Vialattea, where the Turin Olympics took place in 2006.
Built six years ago, the Resort was previously managed by Kempinski until Club Med took over and invested in the refurbishment of the resort.
Refurbishment work includes two new restaurants, a bar and a heated underground passage to take guests directly from the ski rooms to the cable car.
The cable car departs from the centre of the resort meaning skiers have direct access to the ski slopes of Vialattea and Pragelato, as well as the Olympic runs at Sestri??res, in just four minutes.?
In total guests have access to more than 400km of slopes across six resorts. Ski passes are included in the price of a holiday as well as other activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, and Nordic walking.
Accommodation choices are threefold: Club Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Luxury Suites with their own whirlpool bath.
The resort also has children’s clubs for 2 to 17 years, with dedicated activities and professional carers, and a spa.
