The hotel welcomed its first guest in 1936 when it opened in Syntagma Square in the centre of the city’s golden quarter.

It sits between Parliament and is within walking distance of the Acropolis and the Old City of Plaka.

Its restaurant Tudor Hall, on the seventh floor, focuses on Greek cuisine including crayfish carpaccio with green lemon, red peppers and basil, lobster with sweet and sour artichokes, and roast lamb saddle and fillet with rosemary pesto and potato cream with garli
