Navigator set for a makeover
A two week renovation will see the ship’s eight grand and master suites redecorated and the creation of new Italian restaurant Sette Mari at La Veranda.
Managing director UK and Europe Graham Sadler said: “We continually look for ways to enhance and develop the Regent Seven Seas experience, from small touches to major renovations.
“Whether our guests are taking a leisurely walk along the refreshed teak pool deck or enjoying a Porterhouse steak in the extended speciality restaurant, Prime 7, they will feel the subtle luxury and unparalleled comfort of these enhancements throughout.”
The new look suites will feature built-in cabinetry, custom-crafted furnishings, as well as new headboards and bedding, balcony furniture, plush carpeting and designer accessories.
Concierge-level suites and above will have illy coffeemakers and a range of new perks and privileges including priority shore excursion and restaurant reservations, and enhanced amenities, as the program is rolled out starting May 30, 2012.
All suites will have new teak on the balconies.
The ship’s American steakhouse Prime 7 will be enlarged to accommodate 60 guests and a new sculpture is to be placed at the entrance.
“Ultra-plush carpeting” will be installed throughout the public spaces, the Canton Ranch SpaClub is getting new saunas and the pool area on deck 10 will have renewed surfaces.
Seven Seas Navigator will emerge from its makeover on May 30 for a seven-night voyage from Vancouver to Seward, Alaska.
