The Mayfair Townhouse opens in London

The new sister hotel to Cliveden House and Chewton Glen has opened in London.

Made up of 15 Georgian townhouses located on Half Moon Street, The Mayfair Townhouse opened its doors this week.

The 172 room and suite property is the fifth hotel from Iconic Luxury Hotels.

There are five room categories (Cabin Room, Classic Room, Executive Room, Deluxe Room, and Executive Garden Room) and five suite types (The Junior Suite, The Algernon Suite, The Moncrieff Suite, The Green Park Suite, and The Garden Suite.)

There’s also the possibility of interconnecting suites to create two, three and four-bedroom options.

A number of the suite shave their own private patio, plus three additional Signature Suites (The Skylight Suite, The Fifth Floor Suite and The Loft Suite) have incredible views over London’s West End.

The hotel draws inspiration from characters such as Oscar Wilde, with Half Moon Street being the setting for Wilde’s most famous play, The Importance of Being Earnest.

The Dandy Bar is the heart of the property, with other F&B options including The Club Room restaurant. There’s also semi-private dining room The Den and larger private dinning option Oscar’s Study.

Rates start from £252 a night.
