Kerzner International to grow Siro brand in two new locations

Kerzner International has confirmed plans to grow its fitness and recovery brand, Siro, in two new locations.

Properties in Los Cabos, Mexico, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, are set to open in 2027 and 2028 respectively.

The two new hotels will join Siro One Za’abeel in Dubai, the brand’s first property, which opened in February, and Siro Boka Place in Montenegro, which is set to open in Q4 of this year.

Siro Palmilla in Los Cabos will be located on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula and will feature 120 keys as well as a collection of Siro-branded residences.

The site is part of a new masterplan development, Palmilla Reserve, and is located near One&Only Palmilla, a flagship property of Siro sister brand One&Only.

In Saudi Arabia, Siro Olaya Riyadh will represent Kerzner’s first property in the destination.

The group said the announcement coincided with Saudi Arabia’s commitment to wellness as both a cultural and economic priority and a recent surge in healthcare infrastructure development.

Located in the city’s business and residential district, Olaya, Kerzner said the property would offer “convenient entry” to the city’s diplomatic quarter, government offices, prominent business centres and high-end retail experiences.

Siro Olaya Riyadh will feature 200 guest rooms alongside comprehensive fitness and recovery facilities.

Kerzner said the expansion of the Siro portfolio demonstrated its commitment to “steadily grow” and “bring the innovative new concept to destinations across the world”.

Kerzner chief executive Philippe Zuber said: “Siro encapsulates the dynamic spirit of innovation that has been at the heart of Kerzner’s culture for over 30 years of disrupting the hospitality sector.

“Siro is a direct response to the societal shift in attitudes towards sports and wellness was designed to be a rapid-growth challenger brand that enables Kerzner to expand our global footprint in the world’s most vibrant cities.

“The subsequent excitement we’re seeing among investors and developers is testament to the market demand for this revolutionary new concept.”

He added: “The response from [Siro One Za’abeel guests] has been phenomenal and provides a fantastic foundation for growth as we work closely with our partners to grow the pipeline of new Siro properties around the world.”
