Ikos Resorts confirms opening date of first Spain hotel

Ikos Resorts has released the first images of its new all-inclusive resort Ikos Andalusia, which is set to open in April 2021.

The property, located on Spain’s Costa del Sol between Marbella and Estepona, is the result of a €180 million renovation of the hotel group’s former property, Princess Hotel.

The newly rebranded Ikos Andalusia features 411 rooms and 4,000 square metres of swimming pools and gardens. Its all-inclusive concept includes a la carte menus curated by Michelin-starred chefs, a choice of 300 wine labels, beach waiter service, kids’ clubs and 24-hour room service.

The use of a Mini Car for one day, a Dine Out initiative for local restaurants, museum tickets and golf passes are also included as part of the stay.

Ikos Resorts said the property was fully completed ahead of schedule ready for its opening next year.

It will be the brand’s first resort in Spain and its fifth property overall.

Room rates from €392 (£345 approx.) per night based on two people sharing a double room.
