Holidaysplease appoints first brand and business growth executive

OTA and homeworking specialist Holidaysplease has appointed Cat Reeves to the newly-created position of brand and business growth executive.

Reeves worked in a sales position at Holidaysplease between 2014 and 2016 before joining Birmingham Airport’s travel trade team. She was made redundant from that position due to the Covid pandemic.

Richard Dixon, Holidaysplease director, said: “In her time selling with us Cat was extremely successful. She really gets how we work at Holidaysplease so is the perfect person to be talking with prospective homeworkers and travel sales people about our multi-award-winning proposition.”

He added: “We are keen to increase our visibility to the trade and the skills and contacts that Cat has developed during her time with Birmingham Airport will I’m sure see us do exactly that.”

Reeves said: “Having experienced being a Holidaysplease homeworker, I know first-hand about the unique advantages the business offers.

“I truly believe that HP has a solid and strong future. Even in these uncertain times they have grown and they continue to make big plans, I am so excited and proud to be playing a part in that.”

Dixon said: “Early in the pandemic we made the conscious decision not to sit back, preferring to look to the future and continue to invest despite the incredibly challenging trading conditions all of us in travel have been faced with.

“The key appointments we have made are already paying dividends in our quest to not just survive the Covid crisis, but to thrive as we begin to leave it firmly behind us.”
