Gstaad has created an offer specifically designed to encourage multi-generational holidays.

The Three Generations Package is on offer from 15 different hotels in the Swiss Alp village and while parents will pay full price, grandparents have a 50% discount and children go free.

The offer runs from September 1 to October 31 and is bookable from today.

The range of hotels allows for all budgets and style of holiday from family-run chalets to 5 star hotels? and included in the price is the Gstaad easy access card that offers discounts on railways and cable cars.

This pass will help families participate in the area’s most popular activities at this time of year such as hiking and biking.

A two night multi-generational break costs from £472 in a 3 star Hotel, from £661 in a 4 star hotel and from £974 in a 5 star hotel. This is based on a family (2 grandparents, 2 parents and up to 2 children) staying on a half board basis.
