Four Seasons to expand footprint in Mexico

Four Seasons will open a new resort on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

Set on more than 2,000 acres of verdant landscape in the state of Jalisco, the resort and golf club will be located in Tamarindo, between the towns of La Manzanilla and Barra de Navidad.

It will be called Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico, and it will open in next year.

Most of the 155 rooms will have panoramic views of the ocean, while the entire property is surrounded by jungle. The resort will have four F&B venues including an ocean view bar and restaurant, beach bar and grill and a golf club restaurant. The grounds will feature three pools, a full-service spa and a fitness centre. There will also be a ‘young adults centre and lounge’, a water sports centre, tennis courts and meeting space.

It is being created in partnership with Mexican real estate development company Paralelo 19 Desarrollos.

John Davison, president and chief executive of Four Seasons, said: “As we grow the Four Seasons portfolio in Mexico, this project in Tamarindo is the ideal opportunity to do so, offering our guests access to the natural wonder of the region, paired with Four Seasons renowned service and quality excellence.”
