Experimental Group announces three new properties

Experimental Group has announced plans to open three new properties by 2025.

The company, which currently has a portfolio of 11 hotels, will open in Val d’Isère for the 2024/25 season, and in Rome and Paris in 2025.

The group has acquired Aigle des Neiges in Val d’Isère, located at an altitude of 1,850m. The 110-room property will be refurbished  and will welcome guests under the Experimental Group next winter.

The brand has also signed a management contract with Foncière Saint Honoré for a new 43-room five-star hotel in the  Saint-Germain-des-Prés district in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The property, currently a private mansion, will be transformed into a new hotel with 20 rooms and 23 suites. It will also have a restaurant, two bars, a spa and an indoor swimming pool.

The new property in Rome, currently set to open with a provisional name of Experimental Roma, will be on via Ludovisi 46. It will have 78 rooms and suites, a large restaurant under a glass roof and a cocktail bar. A rooftop swimming pool will offer guests views over the city with the Colosseum in the background.

The announcement comes off the back of the brand launching three hotels this year - Cowley Manor Experimental, the Cotswolds, Montesol Experimental, Ibiza and Regina Experimental, Biarritz.
