Eleven Experience adds new heli-skiing adventures

Bespoke adventure specialist Eleven Experience is offering two new heli-skiing experiences in Canada and France for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

From 15 December, 2021 to 31 March, 2022, Eleven Experience will offer its first heli-skiing experience in British Columbia, Canada in partnership with small-group ski tour specialist Kingfisher Heli.

Guests will stay at Halcyon Hot Springs Resort, which features 11 woodland suites, natural hot springs and pools, a gym, yoga areas, a sauna and a spa with private treatments rooms.

The Eleven Experience team will create customised, daily itineraries for each group and skiers will be able to enjoy more than 300,000 acres of terrain covering the Central Monashees, the Pinnacles and the Valhalla Mountains.

Meanwhile, in the Tarentaise Valley on the French-Italian border of the Alps, the brand will offer a second heli-skiing experience at its Chalet Hibou and Chalet Pelerin properties from January 2, 2022 to April 24, 2022.

Daily itineraries will provide guests the opportunity to fly across to Italy and ski their way across the border back to France. Sainte Foy, Val d’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosière ski resorts are also all within a 30-minute drive of the chalets.

As well as heli-skiing, guests can try Nordic skiing, ice climbing, snow showing, sledding, ski-touring and cross-country skiing, with Eleven’s guides tailoring each activity to suit beginner to advanced level.

Clients will also have the option to add on an extra ski or snowshoe adventure up to The Alpage, Eleven’s private sheep herder’s hut turned mountain outpost, where the team can create a unique après-ski party.

Eleven Experience x Kingfisher Heli private trips for groups of three start from approximately £2,950 per person per night, based on single occupancy.

Heli-skiing rates in France start at approximately £8,634 per night for a lodge buyout based on four skiers.
