Classic Collection hires sales manager for Midlands and north

Classic Collection Holidays has appointed Adam Courtney as its new regional sales manager for the Midlands and the north.

Courtney begins his role at the Worthing-based operator on February 11 and will be representing its luxury brand, Classic Collection, and trade-only brand Classic Package Holidays.

He joins Classic Collection Holidays from Balkan Holidays, where he was business development manager for the Midlands, having previously held roles at Hays Travel and Thomas Cook.

Si Morris-Green, agency sales and marketing director, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Adam as the newest recruit to the agency sales team at Classic Collection Holidays.

“He’s tasked with heading up Classic’s presence in the Midlands and the north, a job to which he’ll bring a huge amount of experience, know-how and talent.”

Courtney added: “I’ve long been an admirer of this well-established brand and am well aware of the popularity that both Classic brands enjoy in the wider travel trade community.

“I’m looking forward to building on strong agent relationships in the midlands and the north and helping to grow the business.”

Courtney will be taking over the role previously held by Rachel Wood, who has moved to Premier Holidays after four years with Classic.
