Celebrity Cruises makes summer return to Galapagos Islands

Celebrity Cruises is to return to sailing the Galapagos Islands this summer.

Mega yacht Celebrity Flora, one of three vessels running itineraries around the Pacific archipelago, will be the first to restart on July 4.

The ship will be followed by Celebrity Xpedition on July 24 and 16-passenger Celebrity Xploration on September 18.

All ships will sail with vaccinated crew and will be available to vaccinated adult passengers and children under the age of 18 with a negative PCR test result.

Passengers should also review and comply with local requirements for entry to Ecuador and the Galapagos.

Reduced air fares, cutting up to £625 per person off the cost from the UK and Ireland, are being offered for a limited time with a Galapagos holiday package booked by June 30 for travel between July 4 and the end of the year.

The line is combining seven-night itineraries combined with all-inclusive land-based accommodation and activities to create ten- to 16-night holidays.

Passengers can take twice-daily shore excursions guided by Galapagos National Park certified naturalists.
