Carrier targets families and transformational travel in 2020 campaign

Families and transformational travel are the focus of Carrier’s 2020 peaks campaign.

The tour operator has released two holiday guides entitled The Play List and The Rich List designed to offer travellers fresh ideas for the year ahead.

The Play List features a ‘Family Firsts’ chapter aimed at families trying new things such as surfing at Niyama Private Islands in the Maldives and ziplining through the jungle at Eden Roc at Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.

A ‘Home from Home’ section also highlights properties with an abundance of space, privacy and home comforts including the Royal Villa Koroni at The Romanos, A Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino and the Private Reserve Villa at Soneva Fushi, Maldives.

Meanwhile, The Rich List provides travel ideas designed to “transform travellers into more insightful, more knowledgeable and ultimately more emotionally wealthy version of themselves.”

Selections include ‘Let’s Take This Offline’ which recommends trips to disconnect and recharge, such as taking part in painting and pottery classes at Menorca Experimental and nature walks through the 10-million-year-old rainforest at The Datai Langkawi in Malaysia.

The ‘Give a Little Back’ chapter also provides insight on the trips that allow travellers to contribute to conservation and sustainability, helping local communities by building new schools at One&Only Nyungwe House, Rwanda or indulging in zero waste meals at 1 Hotel South Beach Miami’s signature restaurant Habitat.
