Carrier launches Blue Skies Ahead campaign as it reports surge in bookings

Luxury tour operator Carrier has launched a campaign to inspire future travel as it reports a significant increase in demand following the FCO’s easing of travel restrictions.

The operator said it had seen a surge in interest over the past two weeks with an 100% increase in enquiries and more than 200% increase in bookings departing this year. Italy, Spain and France are among its most popular destinations.

The increased demand comes as Carrier launches its Blue Skies Ahead campaign which focusses on three key principles – collaborations, curation and care.

As part of the campaign, Carrier is developed new packages tailored to meet the demands of today’s more cautious clients, these packages will focus on privacy and will see new destinations added as and when travel restrictions are lifted.

A set of ‘ultra-travel experiences’ have also been created, featuring private jet flights, ground arrangements and other extras.

One such itinerary includes a buyout of luxury villa Tagomago Private Island, a short boat ride or helicopter ride from Ibiza’s best bars. The operators offers seven nights with private jet travel from London to Ibiza for 10 people from £197,000 per group.

Another option is a seven-night charter of a superyacht for 12 people, with return flights by private jet from London to Nice and leading in from £342,000.
