Belmond launches Exclusive Places collection

Belmond has created a collection of private escapes across its portfolio of hotels, trains and cruises.

The brand is drawing on the ever-growing demand for privacy with a selection of products including large suites on its sleeper trains, beachside villas and charter options.

It is calling the range its Exclusive Places collection, which has been deigned with families and small groups in mind.

The collection includes the option for a private charter onboard one of Belmond’s luxury barges in France. Six-night charters are available from August 16 for six to 12 guests. The sailing in the Burgundy region is fully inclusive and itineraries can be customised to include private wine tastings in vineyards. Charters start at €30,000 for a six-night sailing.

Exclusive Places also includes villas at Belmond Cap Juluca in Anguilla, which cost from $4,630 per night based on a three-night minimum stay. Other costal hideaways included are in the Caribbean, Bali, Brazil, Cape Town, Sicily and California.

Belmond’s new collection also features rural retreats in Tuscany and city break options.

In a statement, Belmond said: “The diverse collection of experiences range from private grand suites aboard a luxury sleeper train to sun soaked villas on the best beach in the Caribbean, characterful cottages in California gardens and a family charter of a river barge for a slow meander along the canals in France.

“The Exclusive Places collection is designed for families and small groups seeking exclusivity within the world of Belmond.”
