Banyan Tree Phuket launches wellbeing sanctuary

A new wellness sanctuary has been unveiled at Banyan Tree Phuket in Thailand.

The area features 12 eco-sustainable pool villas set among tropical gardens, each boasting a 17.5 sqm swimming pool with a built-in whirlpool and a large terrace for exercise and sunbathing.

Inside, the bedroom is fitted with organic cotton bed linin, patent lights, binaural music and an alarm clock which mimics sunrise and early morning nature sounds for a natural wake up.

In-villa amenities include an organic mini bar and tea, sustainable coffee, personal yoga mats, exercise bands and singing bowls for private practices.

The wellbeing sanctuary has been designed as part of the hotel’s wider wellness offering, which includes master therapists, naturopathy, herbal workshops, meditation, guided detox and fitness programmes, and bespoke treatments and wellness sessions at the Banyan Tree spa.

A stay in a wellness sanctuary villa includes an arrival wellbeing consultation, unlimited access to 50 wellbeing activities, a 60-minute massage each night and a daily breakfast and afternoon nutrition platter.

Villa rates start at £360 based on two adults sharing a wellbeing pool villa.
