Baglioni Hotels & Resorts launches new Sardinia property

Baglioni Hotels & Resorts has launched its first property on the island of Sardinia. 

The 78-room Baglioni Resort Sardinia is set to open on June 1 on the island's north coast, near the seaside town of San Teodoro.

The property features a one-kilometre private beach, a pool set within gardens and a spa featuring a Finnish sauna, steam bath, ice fountain, two sensory showers and four treatment cabins.

Food and beverage options including signature restaurant Gusto by Sadler and relaxed eatery Ruia, as well as pool and sunset terrace bars. 

Watersports on offer at the hotel include canoeing, kayaking, kitesurfing and snorkelling, while on land, there's mountain biking, horse riding, trekking and yoga. The Puntaldìa Golf Club is also three kilometres away.

Guests can make use of the hotel's Azimut Atlantis 34 yacht, which offers day excursions to the Tavolara archipelago and the neighbouring isles of Spargi, La Maddalena and Porto Rafael. Tours by private aircraft can also be arranged. 

Baglioni Resort Sardinia joins Baglioni's collection of hotels across Europe and the Maldives. 

Rates start at €450 per night.
