Baglioni Hotels & Resorts to open in Milan this year

Baglioni Hotels & Resorts is set to expand its footprint in Italy with the addition of a new hotel in Milan.

Casa Baglioni, Milan will open in Q4 this year in the design district of Brera, close to the region’s luxury boutiques, art galleries, antique markets and cocktail bars.

The property will offer 30 suites and rooms as well as a living area, a wine cellar and a restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler.

The hotel was designed by Italian architects Spagnulo & Partners and is said to have been inspired by the art and design of 1960s Milan. It will be a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.

Casa Baglioni marks the brand’s third new opening in 18 months, following the unveiling of Baglioni Resort Sardinia in June 2021 and the upcoming launch of Baglioni Masseria Muzza in Puglia in May 2022

The brand’s group chief executive Guido Polito said: “I am pleased and proud to return to Milan, an essential destination for our Collection, and I am confident that it will delight all travellers who love Italian style.”

Baglioni’s Venice address, Baglioni Hotel Luna Venice, also recently reopened following a major renovation. The property, which is reportedly the city’s oldest hotel, features a new restaurant, also helmed by Sadler, and a new Baglioni Spa. Public spaces including the Canova Bar, entrance, lobby and reception also underwent an extensive redesign.
