Aspire to return to print in September

Aspire will return to print on September 24 as part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to the trade and following requests by agents.

The title will continue to publish as a standalone magazine, reinforcing Aspire’s place at the heart of the luxury agent community.

Following research among agent readers, the next edition of the magazine will include new segments and content which reflects the changes, challenges and opportunities the travel industry is facing. The edition will be centred around a theme of The Next Chapter in Luxury Travel.

During the past five months, Aspire has been delivering an increased level of digital content, resulting in a rise in online readership.

To cater to Aspire’s luxury community and to support agents and suppliers during the challenges of recent months, the team stepped up to deliver more online content and resources, including masterclass guides on SEO and social media.

As a result, the brand’s newsletter increased in importance and became a weekly fixture back in April, having previously been published fortnightly.

Aspire editor Hollie-Rae Brader said: “I’m delighted that Aspire is returning to its roots as a printed publication, showing our unwavering commitment to the luxury sector.

“The magazine has been at the heart of the luxury travel agent community since it was established 10 years ago, and this will continue to be the case as we look to help, inform, connect and inspire our readers.

“During the past five months, the Aspire team has been on hand to support its community through increased digital content, video interviews with key figures from our industry and virtual networking opportunities. Knowing our readers gain a lot of insight from our newsletter content, we also made a decision very early on to publish a weekly newsletter, rather than fortnightly.

“But most importantly, we’ve been on hand to listen to our agents and suppliers, knowing that they are all facing individual battles and challenges, and that’s what makes the Aspire community so special.”

“There is no doubt that more challenges lie ahead for our treasured industry, but we’ll be on hand to support you through them.”

Aspire’s events portfolio has had to adapt during the crisis, with many events moving to a virtual platform. Leaders of Luxury will be held on October 8 and 9 with a stellar line-up of speakers and networking opportunities for suppliers and agents.

The brand intends to go ahead with two of its overnight Aspire Escapes, scheduled for December as in-person events.

Brader added: “Having spoken to our agent community and the suppliers set to attend these events, we feel that if government guidance changes and permits gatherings, our Aspire Escapes will provide a perfect platform for the face-to-face networking that we have all missed during the crisis.”
