AmaWaterways unveils Ultimate Cruise Flexibility programme

AmaWaterways has unveiled an Ultimate Cruise Flexibility programme to “offer peace of mind for agents and their customers”.

Individual and group bookings made before January 31 for 2021 sailings in Europe and Asia will have different options to protect holidays, with the new programme allowing complimentary re-scheduling of the river cruise portion of the trip for any time to 2023.

The rescheduling offer can be taken up any time up to 48 hours before the start of services purchased through the river line.

An additional Travel Waiver Plus product can be purchased for £135 per person, which will cover cancellations of any element booked through AmaWaterways – including land packages, air travel and additional hotel nights – up to 24 hours beforehand.

Kristin Karst, co-founder and executive vice president, said: “There is so much joy that comes with planning future holidays and we know that our travel partners and their clients are prioritising flexibility and peace of mind more than ever in today’s landscape.

“Our new, temporary Ultimate Cruise Flexibility was designed to ensure travellers feel confident about reserving their next river cruise and get excited about the many breath-taking experiences waiting to be discovered on the world’s rivers.

“International travel will start rebounding in 2021, and we want to ensure our guests are comfortable in reserving early in order to get their favourite ship and stateroom to celebrate all those dearly missed 2020 occasions.”
