AmaWaterways adds spring departure to seven-river Europe cruise

AmaWaterways has added a second spring departure to its 2023 seven-river Europe cruise following an “overwhelming” response to the initial launch.

The line’s original Seven River Journey Through Europe sailing, which went on sale last month, is due to depart in June 2023 with 144 guests.

The programme will now also run between April 20, 2023 and June 4, 2023, departing from Avignon, France and ending in Giurgiu, Romania.

Guests will sail on three ships in total - AmaKristina, AmaCerto and AmaMagna – and will visit 14 countries across Europe over 45 nights. Rates start at £20,268 per guest.

“Our first Seven River Journey – Summer received such a positive response that I am overjoyed to provide our guests yet another incredible extended journey designed to fully immerse them in European culture and create memories that will last a lifetime,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways.

“Having one Cruise Manager take care of guests throughout this entire journey ensures a seamless transition from one ship to the other and we have many unique experiences and onboard amenities planned to further enhance the immersive nature of this 45-night journey.”
