AmaWaterways Expands No-Fly River Cruise Options For 2021

AmaWaterways has expanded its programme of no-fly cruises for 2021.

Eleven additional cruise itineraries are now offered with rail connections from the UK, meaning guests who wish to travel by train can now choose from a total of 15 cruises along the Rhine, Moselle, French rivers and Dutch and Belgian waterways.

Among the itineraries is the Capitvating Rhine cruise from Amsterdam to Basel, The Impressions of the Seine and Paris sailing from Paris to Le Havre and the Essence of Burgundy and Provence cruise from Chalon-sur Saône to Arles.

AmaWaterways is offering free standard class return rail travel on selected 2021 departures.

Overseas private return transfers from the train station to the ship are also included. The free rail offer is valid on selected departures booked by September 30, 2020.

The majority of services operate direct from London St. Pancras or with only one change. Upgrades to Standard Premier are available from £99 per person.

Jamie Loizou, UK managing director, said: “We have seen huge uplift in demand for no-fly options in 2021. Rail access to the continent is quick and easy and with direct trains to many of our departure points, getting to your ship has never been easier.

“Given such strong demand, we felt the time was right to roll out an expanded programme with a wide range of options for our guests to choose from. The introduction of our free rail and private transfers promotion ensures it is not only convenient but offers great value for money too.”

The lead in price for the no-fly programme is £2,104 per person for a seven night Tulip Time itinerary from Amsterdam. The price is based on a March 18 departure.
