Abercrombie & Kent reports private jet demand

Abercrombie & Kent has added a second departure to its around-the-world private jet safari in response to growing demand for private jet travel.

The operator has introduced new dates of October 6-29, 2022 for its Wildlife Safari: Around the World by Private Jet experience after the original February 2022 departure sold out.

The 24-day trip gives guests access to Japanese macaque in Japan, tarsiers and whale sharks in the Philippines, honey bears and orangutans in Malaysia, Bengal tigers in India, lemurs in Madagascar, gorillas and golden monkeys in Rwanda and the big five in Kenya.

The trip is limited to 48 guests and starts from £120,265 per person.

"After months of not being able to travel, our guests are ready to reward themselves," said Ann Epting, senior vice president for private jet and special interest travel.

"The pandemic put things into perspective, and they want to experience the places they have always dreamed of visiting - and are unwilling to wait any longer. Travelling by private jet makes it possible to visit seven remarkable wildlife destinations in just 24 days."

A&K’s chartered Boeing 757 has been custom designed with Italian leather seats which feature an in-built personal massage system, four-way adjustable headrests and lumbar support and open to lie-flat beds.

On the ground accommodation is reserved exclusively for A&K private jet guests along the way, including The Peninsula Tokyo, The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur and One&Only’s Gorilla’s Nest in Rwanda. A&K’s Travelling Bell Boy ensures luggage is waiting in rooms at each hotel.
