Luxury tailor-made operator Carrier has launched a business accelerator programme to offer coaching for agents.

Alchemy aims to help agents “take their business to the next level” as well as support their personal growth.

The programme has been designed in partnership with Marmalade Development, a company that offers senior level coaching to clients such as Barclays and BMW.

It will feature one-to-one online coaching sessions and workshops with others from across the industry.

Workshops will focus on topics such as creating business goals, developing strategies and practices to achieve them, recognising growth opportunities and building a personal brand and presence.

Carrier’s head of trade partnerships Lee Marshall said: “Alchemy is a fabulous opportunity for travel specialists who are ambitious in wanting to grow their business and make space in their working approach.

“We want to help give individuals the right tools and mindset to succeed; perhaps they feel like their business is running them, rather than the other way around, or that they have the desire to develop but don’t have the time.

“Alchemy helps by allowing participants the time to reflect and step away from the ‘day to day’ to take an objective look at their goals, progress and strategy for success.”

The course will run between April and September this year, with an opening session taking place at Carrier’s head office in Manchester.

Another in-person session will also be held in southern England in September.

Marshall added: “As well as our usual support alongside timely marketing campaigns, award ceremonies and fam trips, we’re always looking for new ways to help our close community of trade agent partners continue to flourish and grow.

“In 2025, we are investing more in supporting trade partnerships than at any time in our 42-year history. We’re aiming to give our partners the tools and expertise to help them elevate their own success while strengthening our shared network; Alchemy is an excellent example of this.”

He continued: “With support from trained business coaches, delegates will be given space to explore challenges, issues and aspirations alongside someone who is trained to guide, challenge and hold you accountable.

“The workshops will allow and encourage discussions on best practices, case studies and how to solve common challenges. Overall, the process is conversational, but the benefits are tangible.

“We are confident this will make a big difference to those that take part.”

Places on the course are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

However, if all places are allocated and there is further interest, Carrier will create a waitlist and hold additional courses in the future.

The course fee is £1,375. For the first 12 agents signed up by March 7, Carrier will contribute £375.
