Uniworld announces its first Rivers of the World cruise

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is launching a 46-night Rivers of the World itinerary, cruising in 2023. The first of this type of cruise for the luxury line will take passengers to nine countries aboard five Super Ships, with both cruise and land elements included in the trip.

Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, said: “We’re so proud to announce the inaugural ‘Rivers of the World’ itinerary; our longest and most action-packed sailing to date spanning nine countries aboard five of our world-class Super Ships. It’s an itinerary like none other and a true holiday of a lifetime with surprises at every turn.”

After a launch celebration and stay in Cairo, clients will take a week-long cruise on the Nile aboard new vessel SS Sphinx. Two day stays in the Swiss Alps and Milan are followed by another week cruising the Venice Lagoon and Po River on the SS La Venezia. On the Danube, guests will sail on the S.S. Maria Theresa from Budapest to Passau; board the S.S. Joie de Vivre in France and explore the best of Northern France along the Seine; and complete the itinerary in Portugal, beginning in Porto with a cruise aboard the S.S. Sao Gabriel through the Douro Valley, followed by a three-night land stay in Lisbon and closing event.

The Rivers of the World itinerary is all-inclusive including onboard dining, unlimited premium wine, beer and spirits, Wifi, excursions, scheduled airport transfers, onboard gratuities and flights between cruise segments. The itinerary also features a dedicated Travelling Concierge that will accompany guests for the entire journey to assist with all needs.

Uniworld’s new Rivers of the World cruise starts at £31,499 per person and UK pricing also includes international air travel into Cairo and out of Lisbon. A 10% Early Booking Discount is also currently available, leading in at £28,313 per person.
