Reservations open for The Standard, Ibiza

The Standard, Ibiza is now officially taking reservations ahead of its April 1 launch.

The property fronts the island’s main plaza, Vara de Rey, in the heart of Ibiza’s Old Town. It is situated close to the marina, with Formentera a 20-minute ferry trip away.

The hotel was designed by Spanish creator Lázaro Rosa-Violán, with interiors led by Oskar Kohnen in collaboration with The Standard’s in-house design team.

The white-washed building offers bright, eclectic decor, lush landscaping and a “chic, new 60s vibe”, according to the brand.

The Standard, Ibiza features 67 rooms and suites, as well as a street-level restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant celebrates local ingredients and offers an “intimate nightlife experience” after dark.

A rooftop bar will feature a 15-metre swimming pool and panoramic views of the island.

A separate building, Casa Privada, is located a block away from the hotel and can be booked by groups. The property offers 14 guest rooms, including two Terrace Suites with their own outdoor terraces and tubs, as well as a private pool, bar, gym and lounge.

Opening rates start from €255. Rates for high season (starting July 1) will be from €550.

An opening offer, Bloom With Us, allows guests up to 20% off their first stay throughout the end of 2022 when booked by January 24.

“The Standard has always felt a strong connection to Ibiza, a shared appreciation for unabashed fun, the freedom to be who you are and the expectation of the unexpected – so this is an exciting day for us, marking one step closer to welcoming the first guests through our doors,” said Amber Asher, chief executive of Standard International.

The Standard, Ibiza joins sister properties in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, London, the Maldives and Hua Hin. The brand’s upcoming Asia flagship, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon, is slated to open in May 2022.
