Not Just Travel revives podcast show with TV presenter as new host

Not Just Travel has relaunched its podcast show in a new format, hosted by TV presenter and Not Just Travel brand ambassador Hayley Sparkes.

The franchise firm’s co-founder, Steve Witt, launched and hosted The Travel Podcast in 2020, during the first Covid lockdown, to inspire customers.

In its new format, the weekly podcast aims to offer holidaymakers ideas and tips from industry partners, travel influencers and celebrities.

In the first series of episodes, Sparkes speaks to travel influencer Sally Jacks; Sarah Archer, UK sales manager at Beachcomber Tours; and Phil Mack, chief executive of the Music and Memories TV channel.

Sparkes will soon be joined by Not Just Travel brand ambassador Laura Hamilton, who is also the presenter of A Place in the Sun on Channel 4.

Paul Harrison, co-founder of Not Just Travel and its recruitment arm The Travel Franchise, said the stories and travel tales aim to “spark” the imagination of listeners and “inspire wanderlust”.

“This is yet another innovative way we are supporting our valuable key trade partners, by delivering a whole new audience for them, as well as providing magazine-style audio content for our consultants to share with their network,” he said.

“Already, our consultants are telling us that they are winning new customers from our brand ambassador videos and social media content that Hayley Sparkes and Laura Hamilton are creating for us.

“The Travel Podcast is another channel to create new relationships with customers.”

Sparkes added: “Delivering holiday inspiration for special moments away for people is a dream come true. That’s why I love working with Not Just Travel and its passionate family of consultants.

“I travel extensively for work and so know all the hacks and tips to make trips go smoothly.

“Not Just Travel is embedded so closely with industry partners and so it’s fascinating to learn about upcoming trends and lesser-known gems.”

The Travel Podcast can be found on platforms such as iTunes and Spotify.
