Mandarin Oriental to open second London property
The property, to be called Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, is expected
to open in 2021, and will have 50 guestroom and suites.
It will be Mandarin Oriental’s second London property and
comes following a major refurbishment of the original one in Kensington,

The site will also have 80 residences, as well as a
restaurant, lobby lounge, bar and a roof top bar with a terrace overlooking
Mayfair.
James Riley, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental,
said: “We are delighted to be opening a second Mandarin Oriental property in
London, and look forward to extending the group’s legendary hospitality to
another of the city’s most exclusive addresses.
“Operating two complementary hotels in a single destination is something that the group has already done successfully in Hong Kong.
