Ikos Andalusia to include Covid cover as standard

Ikos Resorts property in Andalusia will open in spring 2021 with a complimentary Travel Protection Plan including Covid-19 medical coverage.

The insurance will cover up to €4,000 for medical expenses associated with the virus, transportation in a private ambulance to and/or from the hospital, repatriation due to falling ill with Covid-19, and up to 15 days of quarantine expenses including extended stay, meals, and local transportation expenses up to €5,000.

Ikos Andalusia, the group’s first property outside of Greece, has also announced flexible booking conditions giving guests peace of mind when they book their stay.

The resort will open under an ‘all-tested promise’, which ran at Ikos Resorts last season.

It means all staff members will be tested for Covid-19 prior to the resort opening and undergo regular rapid antigen tests.

A complimentary rapid antigen test will also be offered to all domestic and international guests upon arrival, while international guests will be able to book various tests on site in order to meet their required travel specifications before departure.
