Family-owned boutique hotel group Leitmotiv is set to open its first hotel in Italy this spring.

Casa Monti will be the brand’s third hotel in Europe, joining sister properties Cœur de Megève in the French Alps and La Fantaisie in Paris.

The new hotel is located in Rome’s historic first district, Monti, which is set away from the city centre but close to key sights such as the Pantheon - the most preserved monument of ancient Rome - and the Colosseum.

The listed property has 26 rooms and 10 suites across six floors with decor to match the artistry of the Monti neighbourhood.

The hotel also features a restaurant with an outdoor terrace, a bar-cafe and a rooftop terrace.

Guests can also enjoy the hotel spa which offers panoramic views of the city.
