Audley Travel recruits new business development manager

Tailor-made travel specialist Audley Travel has recruited Sarah Turner as business development manager.

Her remit is to strengthen existing links and forge new relationships with travel agents, particularly in the south of the UK.

She will look to increase collaboration on marketing and events, and training opportunities for agents and homeworkers.

Greg Thurston, Audley Travel’s trade sales manager, said: “We have seen a fantastic response from agents to Audley working more closely with the trade over the last few years, but there is still so much potential, and an ever-increasing demand from agents to partner with us for their experiential tailor-made enquiries.

“Sarah’s passion, experience and initiative will enable us to capitalise on that demand by fostering even closer working partnerships, using her contacts and expertise to help more agents and homeworkers discover our unique brand of tailor-made travel.”

Turner added: “I have long been an admirer of Audley’s approach to meaningful and responsible luxury travel.

“Having watched Greg’s great success in introducing the brand to the trade, I am so excited to join the team and work with him to showcase the knowledge of Audley’s specialists to trade partners across the south.”

Sarah joined Audley on Monday (April 29) from APT Travel Group.
