Air Charter Service partners with ‘time expert’ on new private jet experiences

Private jet operator Air Charter Service has partnered with author James Wallman to create a new collection of travel experiences for customers and travel agents.

The collection features concepts from Wallman’s best-selling book, Time And How To Spend It, which was named by the Financial Times as one of its Books Of The Year for 2019.

Full details will be released “before summer”, Air Charter Service confirmed, in line with the projected easing of Covid-19 travel restrictions in the UK.

Wallman said: “I am very excited to be working with Air Charter Service, since the benefits of private aviation align so well with my philosophies on how to spend time wisely for a happy and enriching life.

“The experiences will be based on the Stories framework from Time And How To Spend It - so that, after more than a year of travel restrictions, travellers who select these experiences will not only take a break from their norm, but will embark on a life-affirming journey that provides them with show-stopping memories and stories.”

Ben Stevenson, head of Air Charter Service’s travel and concierge team, added: “The theories in Time And How To Spend It and the benefits of private aviation complement each other so well that we thought this to be a particularly exciting partnership.

“By removing the limitations of scheduled service, we have been able to use his research-based approach to design unique and unparalleled private travel experiences that travellers and travel agents are craving in a post-pandemic world.”
